Vines in the Rain

Tears of the rain
Wipe it away
Wipe it away
Shine on me glorious sun
Come shine and hear what I've got to say...

When my thoughts sway
Don't wipe em away,
Wipe em away
Let em stay
'til it rains down again.

Three hearts entwined
in a special
ribbon of mine
don't let my heart sway away
Hey rain, come down today.

[Keep in mind, it's not a poem, it's song lyrics. So don't read it like a poem.]

Today is a Failure of Society as a Whole

Loss of education is speeding up in the youth and the old quite unnoticeably. Our society surely includes excellent study skills and rapidly gains secular knowledge. However, the comprehension of today’s civilization in comparison to what is ‘wrong’ and ‘right’ is severely damaged. Many today choose to be ignorant, under the illusion that they are holding an opinion—the hold has gotten too strong and due to arrogance, we as a people have forgotten how to let go and open our thoughts to the endless possibilities. Perhaps, when we do, our intellect will continue rising higher than ever. Today is a failure of society as a whole.
War. If those with more power than us would have had an open mind, would things be better off in the Middle East, etc? We are letting fools rule how we live, what we can or cannot do. My stake is conveying that with knowledge and open-mindedness, we can achieve what others haven’t. It is time for a change. If we continue operating like this, pretty soon we will be back to where we started in the beginning—before any thought arose and great minds had a chance to rise without letting the way society perceives their decisions.
